This is not the first of it's kind. Nigerian youths fraudulent act are only a repercussion bad leadership. Sometime in 2017, i made known to you a fraudster impersonating Army general Yusuf Burutai.
These scammers cash on the free state of social media to dupe unsuspecting victims of money. They create a fake social media account of popular dignitaries or pose to be connected to the later. In their malicious act the pretend to lend a hand but will lure to make certain payments first before they do anything for you.
Most social media networks have come up with a verification method for users on the platform, who wants to give their account a full fledged ownership.
The funniest part is that a fraudster can be of any age. News once spread that a Bauchi state village head is in prison for a N550,000 land scam.
